Cascina Dual Zone- Good but...

The Cascina Dual Zone Wine refrigerator is well built from a mechanical viewpoint but not so from from the shelving perspective. Simply put the shelves are woefully inadequate. I own an Allavino dual zone unit in our northern home and the shelves are on metal guides that pull in and out easily. The Cascina shelves are light, with no guide rails and pull out with difficulty. When you place bottles on these shelves you hope they will not collapse. This wine cooler doesn't live up to the Allavino name. With proper shelving it would be a 5 rating. The 4 rating I gave it should be a 3.5 at best. A little disappointed.

Very nice!!

Just received my wine cooler yesterday and love it so far! Very attractive cooler and holds bottles nicely. Racks feel a little flimsy but they aren't. Love the blue light and the chrome detail. It's holding my temps well and is very quiet. Would have rated 5 stars but for a few things: I can't switch the door to open from the other side, so I have to place the unit at an angle so I can open the door al the way (because of where I have to place the unit). The second being the tempature set up--only one section can be colder than the other, so I had to place my white on top and reds on bottom. I typically have more whites, then reds, so I have a lot of empty space in the bottom of the unit. Lastly, I'd like to be able to adjust the bottom shelf. All said, I'm very happy with the unit and purchase/shipping process!

Arrived on time! Love that you can have both red and white wines ! Sure looks great and seems to be keeping the temperature's perfectly! I would recommend this product to friends!

Seems ok so far...

The shelves are a little flimsy and don't slide as well as I hoped. Also the bottom shelf won't hold longer bottles until you get to the second level. Design flaw in my opinion. The locking mechanism is a bit quirky too. price was good and the blue led lights are cool. If it works long term then it is worth it.

So far product is perfect. We think it looks great, ease use,and bottle capacity is perfect for our needs. However, placement of controls could be improved.
